The Civil and Local Government Association of Ghana (CLOGSAG), Sefwi Wiawso Branch, in collaboration with the Sefwi Wiawso Municipal Assembly, organized a heartfelt retirement service on June 14th to honor Chief Environmental Health Officer Mr. Samuel Agyabeng Darkwah as he bids farewell to an illustrious career and enters a well-deserved retirement. The event recognized Mr. Darkwah's exceptional contributions to environmental health and celebrated his remarkable achievements.

As the Chief Environmental Health Officer, Mr. Darkwah has been a driving force behind the Sefwi Wiawso Municipal Assembly's efforts to ensure a clean and healthy environment for its residents. With his extensive knowledge and unwavering commitment, he championed initiatives that have had a transformative impact on the assembly's solid waste management practices and environmental sustainability.

During his tenure, Mr. Darkwah spearheaded groundbreaking campaigns aimed at waste reduction, and the adoption of eco-friendly practices. Under his leadership, Sefwi Wiawso witnessed significant advancements in waste management systems, setting an example for other municipalities.

The retirement service was attended by esteemed officials, including the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Louis Owusu Agyepong, the Municipal Coordinating Director, the Area Head of the Church of Pentecost, Colleagues and members of the community also gathered to express their gratitude and appreciation for Mr. Darkwah's invaluable contributions. Eloquent speeches highlighted his visionary leadership, tireless efforts, and exceptional achievements in advancing environmental health policies and practices.
