The Sefwi Wiawso Municipal Assembly has held its first management meeting for the year 2022. The meeting, which was eagerly anticipated by officials and stakeholders, took place at the MCE’s office and marked the beginning of a new year of strategic planning and decision-making for the Municipality.
The meeting was chaired by the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Hon. Louis Owusu - Agyepong, and was attended by department heads, unit heads, and other key officials. The MCE emphasized the significance of the meeting in setting the tone for the Municipality's development agenda for the year 2022.
During the meeting, various issues were discussed, including progress reports on ongoing projects, budget allocation, revenue mobilization, and the implementation of the Municipality's development plan. Department heads shared updates on their respective department's achievements, challenges, and proposed strategies for the year. There were also discussions on ways to improve service delivery, enhance local economic growth, and promote transparency and accountability in the management of municipal resources.
Hon. Louis Owusu - Agyepong expressed his appreciation for the hard work and dedication of the municipal assembly's officials and staff in the previous year and urged them to redouble their efforts in the year 2022. He emphasized the need for efficient and effective management, teamwork, and collaboration among all stakeholders to achieve the municipality's development goals.
The meeting provided an opportunity for officials to exchange ideas, share best practices, and brainstorm solutions to challenges facing the Municipality. It also served as a platform for the MCE to outline his vision and priorities for the year 2022, which include improving basic services, promoting economic growth, and enhancing the overall well-being of the people of Sefwi Wiawso.
