The Sefwi Wiawso Municipal Assembly celebrated Ghana's 66th Independence anniversary on Monday, March 6, 2022. The annual event, which commemorates the struggle and attainment of Independence and self-governance from British colonial rule, took place at the Wiawso College of Education Park.
Themed "OUR UNITY, OUR STRENGTH, OUR PURPOSE," the celebration was graced by dignitaries including the Municipal Coordinating Director, Mr. Joseph K. Baah-Darkoh, Chiefs and Religious leaders, staff and Heads of department, Assembly Members, Schools and head teachers, Security officers and Market queens.
