In a show of commitment to effective governance, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Hon. Louis Owusu - Agyepong along with the Municipal Coordinating Director and other officials, on wednesday 18th October, 2023, visited the Chiefs and people of Sefwi Boako to address critical community matters and build stronger ties between the Assembly and its constituents. The event, held at the Boako Palace, saw a turnout of the Chief of Sefwi Boako and his elders, market women and residents.
During the meeting, the MCE discussed the Boako Market development project and emphasized the Assembly's dedication to this initiative, aimed at creating wealth for the people of Boako and its surrounding areas.
"The development and well-being of Boako is a priority for the Municipal Assembly, and we are fully committed to addressing the needs and aspirations of the people here," the MCE stated during the gathering. "Our goal is to work hand in hand with the community to achieve progress and prosperity."
The chiefs and community members present welcomed this opportunity to engage in a constructive dialogue with the Assembly. Their feedback, ideas, and concerns were given due consideration and will play an integral role in shaping the future of Boako.
The Chief of Sefwi Boako Nana Asante Kwaw II, expressed his gratitude for the MCE's visit, stating, "We are encouraged by the Assembly’s interest in our welfare. Our voices have been heard, and we look forward to positive changes in Boako."
