On Wednesday, April 25th, 2024, officials from the National Road Safety Authority met with Hon. Louis Owusu-Agyepong, the Municipal Chief Executive of Sefwi Wiawso, to discuss road safety initiatives within the Municipality.
The meeting focused on the successful implementation of mandates of the Road Safety Committee formed by the Assembly.
Mr. Oheneba Kwame Acheampong, Western North Regional Director, who led the delegation, sought the Assembly's support to make the Committee fully operational to reduce traffic accidents and promote safe driving practices.
The Municipal Chief Executive assured the delegation of the Assembly’s full commitment to road safety, emphasizing that road safety is a critical concern for everyone due to the universal vulnerability to traffic incidents.
This partnership highlights the commitment of both the National Road Safety Authority and the Municipal leadership to safeguarding the lives of citizens on roads.
