The Sefwi Wiawso Municipal Assembly on Tuesday, 9th April, 2024, convened key Heads of Departments and Units at the Municipal Assembly Hall to assess their readiness for the impending 2023 Performance Contract Monitoring and Evaluation.
The performance contract is part of a Performance Management System instituted by the local Government Service to improve performance and enhance productivity in line with the Local Government Act, 2016 (Act 936).
The Municipal Coordinating Director, Mr. Fred B. Kpodo in his opening remark gave a brief background to the Performance Contract as well as the need for the Assembly to achieve greater heights in its ranking. He emphasized the Assembly's determination to surpass previous performance levels, aiming for a higher standing in the upcoming assessment.
He also delivered a presentation on the Key Performance Indicators outlined in the contract to all participants, as affected Heads of Departments/Units took turn to inform the gathering about their readiness.
In his closing remark, Mr. Kpodo urged his Officers to go all lengths to take the Assembly to a more glorifying position in the impending Performance Contract monitoring and evaluation.
