SEFWI WIAWSO MUNICIPAL ASSEMBLY HOLDS BUDGET COMMITTEE MEETING

The Sefwi Wiawso Municipal Assembly has held a Budget Committee meeting to discuss key financial issues concerning the Municipality. The meeting took place at the Assembly Hall and brought together Budget Committee members to deliberate on matters affecting the Assembly’s operations.
A first item on the agenda was the proposed sitting allowance for Hon. Assembly Members. Committee members shared their views on the proposal, considering the important roles played by Assembly Members in the development of their communities.
The meeting also focused on the 2025 budget review and a proposed supplementary budget. These are aimed at addressing new priorities and ensuring that the Assembly's financial plan aligns with current needs and challenges.
The meeting was chaired by the Municipal Coordinating Director, Mr. Fred B. Kpodo. He encouraged members to take the discussions seriously and contribute meaningfully to ensure sound financial planning for the Municipality.
The Municipal Budget Analyst, Mr. Christian Nkuah, presented the details of the 2025 budget review and supplementary budget. He explained the reasons for the adjustments and highlighted the key areas where funds will be allocated to support development projects.
