SEFWI WIAWSO MUNICIPAL ASSEMBLY HOLDS GENERAL STAFF MEETING AHEAD OF COCOA CITY EXPERIENCE

The Sefwi Wiawso Municipal Assembly has held a General Staff Meeting at the Assembly Hall to deliberate on preparations for the upcoming Cocoa City Experience, an event aimed at celebrating the Municipality’s cocoa heritage and promoting tourism, culture, and local economic development.
The meeting brought together all staff of the Assembly and was chaired by the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Dominic Gyasi.
The Municipal Coordinating Director, Mr. Fred B. Kpodo stressed on the importance of teamwork and effective collaboration among departments to ensure the successful organization of the festival. He encouraged staff to approach their assigned roles with dedication and innovation.
Mr. Kpodo also used the opportunity to introduce the newly posted Human Resource Manager, Mr. Alfred Buckman, to the staff. He takes over from Mr. Thomas Ofosu-Oware, who has been transferred to the Central Regional Coordinating Council (RCC) in Cape Coast.
Discussions during the meeting centered on how to actively involve every staff member in the planning and execution process. Participants expressed enthusiasm and readiness to support the initiative, which aims to showcase Sefwi Wiawso as Ghana’s premier “Cocoa City.”
Hon. Dominic Gyasi, in his remarks commended the staff for their hard work and continuous dedication to the development of the Municipality. He called on everyone to contribute their quota toward making the Cocoa City Experience, a memorable event that reflects the unity, pride, and cultural identity of Sefwi Wiawso.
