SEFWI WIAWSO MUNICIPAL ASSEMBLY HONORS COORDINATING DIRECTOR AT RETIREMENT SERVICE


In a heartfelt ceremony, the Sefwi Wiawso Municipal Assembly bid farewell to its esteemed Coordinating Director, Mr. Mohammed Abudu Yahaya, as he retired from his dedicated years of service. The event, held at the Conference room of the Western North Regional Coordinating Council, was attended by a host of dignitaries, staff members of other Assemblies, and community representatives.


The retirement service, organized by the Sefwi Wiawso Municipal Assembly, was an affectionate honor to Mr. Yahaya’s solid commitment and invaluable contributions to the development of the Municipality. During his tenure, Mr. Yahaya played a pivotal role in steering various initiatives aimed at enhancing governance, infrastructure, and community welfare.


The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Hon. Louis Owusu-Agyepong, in his address, lauded Mr. Yahaya’s exemplary leadership and dedication to public service. He highlighted the significant impact of Mr. Yahaya's tenure on the Municipality's progress and expressed gratitude for his selfless service.


A series of heartfelt compliments and expressions of appreciation followed, as his colleagues, friends and staff members recounted fond memories and shared stories of Mr. Yahaya's tenure. His professionalism, integrity, and visionary leadership were celebrated as key drivers of positive change within the Municipality.


In recognition of his outstanding service, Mr. Yahaya was presented with various awards and tokens of appreciation by the Sefwi Wiawso Municipal Assembly, alongside representatives from other Assemblies in the Region, colleagues, friends, and well-wishers


The ceremony concluded with warm wishes from the Chief Director of Western North RCC, Mr. Ebenezer Amoah for Mr. Yahaya's well-deserved retirement and expressions of confidence in his continued success in future endeavours.
