SWMA EMPOWERS PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES THROUGH FINANCIAL SUPPORT AND VOCATIONAL TRAINING


In a significant stride toward promoting inclusivity and improving the lives of persons living with disabilities, the Sefwi Wiawso Municipal Assembly (SWMA) has extended both financial assistance and vocational training opportunities to empower individuals within the disability community.

This initiative underscores the Assembly’s unwavering commitment to ensuring that persons with disabilities have the resources and skills they need to lead fulfilling and independent lives.

The Assembly unveiled financial assistance tailored to the specific needs of persons with disabilities. These financial aids are designed to help cover healthcare expenses, education, and other essential costs.

The Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Louis Owusu-Agyepong spoke passionately about the Assembly’s dedication to creating an inclusive and supportive environment for all residents. Hon. Louis again stressed that the support is a significant step towards realizing the Assembly’s vision of a more inclusive and accessible community.
