SWMA HOLDS EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEETING

The Sefwi Wiawso Municipal Assembly convened its Executive Committee meeting at the Assembly Hall on 8th October, 2025 to review and approve proposals and recommendations submitted by its various sub-committees.

In his opening remarks, Hon. Dominic Gyasi, Chairman of the Executive Committee, welcomed all members and urged them to actively engage in discussions to ensure productive deliberations.

During the meeting, the conveners of the Assembly’s sub-committees presented their recommendations for discussion, approval, and onward submission to the General Assembly for final endorsement.

The discussions focused on ensuring the Assembly’s plans and budgets align with local development priorities, enhance revenue mobilization, and strengthen governance and accountability in the municipality.

The meeting concluded with members emphasizing the need for timely implementation of approved plans to improve service delivery and promote sustainable development in the Sefwi Wiawso Municipality.
