MUNICIPAL COORDINATING DIRECTOR OFFICIALLY HANDS OVER LEADERSHIP TO NEW MCE FOR SEFWI WIAWSO, HON. DOMINIC GYASI

In a smooth transition of leadership, the Municipal Coordinating Director (MCD), who had served as acting MCE for some time, officially handed over the reigns of administrative responsibility to the newly confirmed Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of the Sefwi Wiawso Municipal Assembly, Hon. Dominic Gyasi,

The handing-over ceremony, held at the Municipal Coordinating Directors’ Office saw the formal presentation of the handing-over document from the Municipal Coordinating Director  to Hon. Dominic Gyasi. This marks the official commencement of Hon. Gyasi’s tenure as MCE, following his confirmation.

The newly confirmed MCE was accompanied to the meeting by the Member of Parliament for Sefwi Wiawso Constituency, Hon. Kofi Benteh Afful, and the NDC Constituency Chairman, Mr. Patrick Quainoo, who both lent their support to the smooth transition of leadership.

Following the official handover, the Municipal Coordinating Director led Hon. Gyasi on a familiarization tour to the various offices at  the Municipal Assembly block, personally introducing him to staff across various departments and units. This informal meet-and-greet gave staff the opportunity to welcome their new Municipal Chief Executive, even ahead of a scheduled general staff meeting where Hon. Gyasi is expected to formally engage with the entire workforce.

The staff expressed enthusiasm at meeting the MCE in person and appreciated the opportunity to briefly interact with him during the tour. The gesture was seen as a positive step toward building strong internal relations and open communication between the MCE and the Assembly staff.

The day’s events were a clear reflection of orderliness, respect for process, and a shared vision for development, as the Sefwi Wiawso Municipal Assembly embarks on this new chapter under Hon. Gyasi’s leadership.
