The Sefwi Wiawso Municipal Assembly has held its maiden management meeting with the newly confirmed Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Dominic Gyasi, marking a significant step towards strategic collaboration and enhanced administrative efficiency within the Assembly.

The meeting, which brought together key departmental heads, was aimed at reviewing the current state of the Assembly’s operations, and aligning leadership priorities with ongoing and planned development initiatives.

In his opening remarks, Hon. Dominic Gyasi expressed his appreciation for the warm reception and reaffirmed his commitment to transparency, teamwork, and effective service delivery. He outlined his leadership vision, placing strong emphasis on advancing the "Reset Agenda" of His Excellency, the President of the Republic of Ghana. Among his proposed initiatives were the digitalization of revenue collection, the introduction of a public speaking contest for students in the Municipality, and the establishment of a daily market at Sefwi Dwenase to replace the traditional weekly Tuesday market, along with other development-focused interventions.

“This meeting sets the tone for open dialogue, innovation, and proactive problem-solving. I believe in inclusive leadership, and I am here to work with you to ensure we make measurable progress for the people of Sefwi Wiawso,” the MCE stated.

The Coordinating Director, Mr. Fred B. Kpodo, led the management in presenting departmental updates, challenges, and key achievements. The meeting also explored opportunities for capacity building, improved inter-departmental coordination, and strategies for enhancing revenue mobilization and project implementation.

Management members welcomed the MCE's leadership approach and pledged their full cooperation to help drive the Assembly’s vision forward.
