Sefwi Wiawso Municipal Assembly Presents 2027 Budget to Western North RCC

The Sefwi Wiawso Municipal Assembly on Friday, 16th October 2026, presented its 2027 Budget to the Western North Regional Coordinating Council (RCC), outlining key development priorities and proposed interventions aimed at improving service delivery and promoting sustainable development across the Municipality.

The budget presentation, led by the Municipal Budget Analyst, Mr. Christian Nkuah, highlighted the Assembly’s planned investments in local infrastructure, healthcare, education, sanitation, and environmental management.

The presentation provided an opportunity for the Assembly to outline its spending priorities and demonstrate how the proposed budget would support the Municipality’s development agenda and address the needs of its residents.

Officials of the Assembly and other relevant stakeholders participated in the exercise, which forms part of the budget review process to ensure that the proposed estimates are aligned with regional and national development priorities.

The Western North Regional Coordinating Council is expected to review the budget proposals to assess their responsiveness to local development needs and their consistency with Ghana’s broader development objectives.
