SWMA commences construction works on Dwenase bypass road

The Sefwi Wiawso Municipal Assembly has commenced construction works on the Dwenase Bypass Road as part of efforts to ease traffic congestion along the Dwenase Highway, particularly during market days when vehicular and human traffic in the area increases significantly.
The bypass is expected to provide an alternative route for motorists, reduce pressure on the main highway and improve the movement of people and goods. The initiative is also intended to enhance road accessibility and facilitate commercial activities within the Municipality.
A significant contribution to the commencement of the works came from the Tipper Truck Association in the Municipality, which assisted in transporting boulders from Asante Gold Chirano Mines to the project site. This support highlights the importance of collaboration between the Assembly, local associations and other stakeholders in advancing development initiatives.
The Assembly acknowledges the contribution of the Tipper Truck Association and the support of Asante Gold Chirano Mines towards facilitating the commencement of the project.
The construction of the Dwenase Bypass Road forms part of the Assembly’s broader commitment to improving road infrastructure, addressing traffic challenges and promoting socio-economic development across the Municipality.
