The training, which brought together staff from various departments and units of the Assembly, focused on deepening participants’ understanding of the protocols and procedures governing the Local Government Service and their application in the performance of official duties.
The facilitator for the training was the Municipal Coordinating Director, Mr. Fred B. Mr. Kpodo stressed the need for staff to familiarise themselves with the relevant LGS protocols and apply them appropriately in their day-to-day activities. He noted that a clear understanding of the Service’s procedures was essential to promoting discipline, accountability and effective service delivery.
The training also provided an opportunity for participants to engage in discussions and seek clarification on issues relating to the application of the protocols in their respective departments and units.
