ASAWINSO RURAL BANK LTD DONATES CUTLASSES TO SUPPORT 2025 FARMERS’ DAY CELEBRATION

As part of efforts to honour and motivate farmers for their immense contribution to national development, the Asawinso Rural Bank Ltd has donated 60 pieces of cutlasses to support the 2025 Farmers’ Day celebration.

The donation, made to the Sefwi Wiawso Municipal Assembly, forms part of the bank’s corporate social responsibility aimed at promoting agriculture and encouraging hardworking farmers within the Municipality. The items are expected to be presented to deserving farmers during the national event.

Officials of the bank noted that agriculture remains the backbone of the local economy, and supporting farmers with essential tools is a practical way to enhance productivity and sustain the sector.

Mr. Albert Arthur (Assist. Director I), who took delivery of the items, expressed appreciation to the Asawinso Rural Bank Ltd for the gesture, describing it as timely and impactful. He added that such support goes a long way in motivating farmers to continue contributing to food security and community development.

The 2025 Farmers’ Day celebration is expected to recognize outstanding farmers and highlight the vital role agriculture plays in the nation’s growth.
