In a significant move aimed at fostering collaboration and community engagement, the Bible Society of Ghana recently called upon the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Sefwi Wiawso, Hon. Louis Owusu-Agyepong, to discuss matters of mutual interest and social impact.
The meeting, held at the MCE’S Offices, brought together representatives from the Bible Society of Ghana, led by Rev. Charles Adu Twumasi - Programmes Manager (Bible Society of Ghana), The gathering served as a monitoring of progress made on the SMC Esahie language Literacy.
During the meeting, Mr. Kimmo Kosonen- United Bible Society (Thailand) highlighted the Bible Society of Ghana's longstanding commitment to promoting literacy, values, and moral development in Ghanaian communities through the distribution and study of the Bible in the Esahie language literacy.
Hon. Louis Owusu - Agyepong in his response, commended the Bible Society of Ghana for its valuable contributions to society and expressed a keen interest in collaborating on projects that would benefit the residents of Sefwi Wiawso. The MCE emphasized the importance of fostering a harmonious environment that promotes shared values and social cohesion.
