Mr. Evans A. Adu-Gyamfi, Assistant Registrar at Central University, Ghana, has paid a courtesy call on the Municipal Chief Executive for Sefwi Wiawso, Hon. Dominic Gyasi, during a recent visit to his hometown for a family engagement.

The visit was more than a formal meeting; it was a reunion rooted in shared history. Hon. Gyasi hails from Sefwi Ahwiaa, a community within the Sefwi Wiawso Municipality, where both men spent their formative years. Their conversation reflected fond memories of growing up together in the area, as well as a mutual commitment to the values they learned, that is respect for people, integrity, and humility.

Hon. Gyasi, who was recently appointed by the President of the Republic to lead the Sefwi Wiawso Municipality, received warm congratulations from Mr. Adu-Gyamfi. In his remarks, the Central University official stressed that these core values would remain essential for effective leadership and the advancement of the Municipality.

As a gesture of support, Mr. Adu-Gyamfi presented Hon. Gyasi with a carefully chosen selection of books intended to enrich his personal development and leadership skills. He expressed optimism that these resources would provide valuable insights and inspiration as the MCE pursues his mandate to improve the welfare of residents.

Mr. Adu-Gyamfi expressed his confidence in Hon. Gyasi’s vision for a progressive and united Municipality and urged him to remain steadfast in fostering collective effort and community engagement as vital pillars for sustainable development.
