The 2025 Cocoa City Experience continued with an exciting Kids’ Funfair held at the Suhuma Park, drawing hundreds of children, parents, teachers, and community members for a day filled with entertainment, learning, and celebration.

The event, designed as part of the festival’s community-centered activities, created a lively atmosphere as children participated in a wide variety of games, competitions, creative arts, and cocoa-themed educational activities. The funfair also aimed at engaging young people in a positive, inclusive, and culturally enriching experience while promoting the values behind the Cocoa City initiative.

Suhuma Park was transformed into a colourful playground featuring bouncing castles, face painting, sack races, football games, spelling competitions, and talent displays. Children also enjoyed storytelling sessions, music performances, and dance contests that showcased their creativity and energy.

Parents and guardians expressed joy and gratitude for the event, praising the Sefwi Wiawso Municipal Assembly for creating a safe and fun learning environment for their children. They noted that events like the Kids’ Funfair help build confidence in children, nurture talent, and foster community bonding.

Representatives from the Assembly commended the organisers and volunteers for their hard work and encouraged children to continue participating in Cocoa City Experience activities designed to promote culture, education, and creativity among the youth.

The Kids’ Funfair at Suhuma Park added a joyful and vibrant touch to the ongoing Cocoa City Experience, reinforcing the festival’s mission of bringing together all age groups to celebrate the cultural, economic, and social heritage of Sefwi Wiawso.
