On April 26, 2023, Hon. Augustine Collins Ntim (MP), the Deputy Minister for Local Government, Decentralization, and Rural Development, paid an official working visit to the Sefwi Wiawso Municipal Assembly. The purpose of the visit was to assess the Assembly's performance in implementing the government's flagship programs and policies in the areas of Health, Education, and Agriculture.
Upon arrival, the Deputy Minister was warmly welcomed by the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Hon. Louis Owusu-Agyepong, who commended him for taking the time out of his busy schedule to visit the Municipality. The Heads of the Health, Education, and Agriculture Departments then made brief PowerPoint presentations showcasing their achievements in implementing the government's flagship programs and policies.
In his speech after the presentations, Hon. Collins Ntim mentioned that he and his substantive Minister, Hon. Dan Botwe, has decided to visit all Assemblies to fully acquaint themselves with the progress made in implementing the government's programs and policies. The Deputy Minister expressed his satisfaction with the performance of the Assembly, indicating that he was impressed with the strides made in implementing the flagship programs in the Municipality.
