The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Sefwi Wiawso, Hon. Dominic Gyasi, has donated a set of street bulbs to St. Joseph Senior High School, as part of efforts to improve security and lighting within the school environment.

Hon. Gyasi, in presenting the bulbs, stressed on the Assembly’s commitment to supporting educational institutions not only with academic resources but also with essential infrastructure that promotes safety and comfort.

“Education is not only about books and classrooms; it is also about creating a safe and conducive environment for teaching and learning. Proper lighting is critical for security, for evening studies, and for the general wellbeing of both students and staff. That is why I am pleased to support St. Joseph SHS with these street bulbs,” the MCE stated.

He assured the school that the Assembly will continue to collaborate with educational stakeholders to identify and address challenges that hinder effective teaching and learning.

The Admiinistrator of St. Joseph SHS, on behalf of the Headmaster, staff and students, expressed deep appreciation to Hon. Gyasi for the timely intervention. He noted that the provision of the bulbs would significantly reduce security risks, improve visibility on campus, and allow students to engage in evening study sessions with greater confidence.

Students of the school also welcomed the gesture, describing it as a motivation that shows the Assembly’s concern for their welfare and academic progress.
