The Municipal Chief Executive for Sefwi Wiawso, Hon. Dominic Gyasi, has engaged residents of Sefwi Domeabra and Owuabroso as part of his ongoing community outreach and stakeholder engagement drive aimed at strengthening grassroots participation in local governance.

The engagement session brought together traditional leaders, opinion leaders, youth groups, women’s associations, and other community members to discuss pressing development challenges affecting the area. Key issues raised included poor road conditions, the need for improved educational infrastructure, access to healthcare services, access to portable drinking water, and environmental concerns.

Hon. Gyasi used the platform to outline the Assembly’s development priorities and ongoing projects within the Municipality. He emphasized the importance of community participation in development planning and implementation, noting that sustainable development can only be achieved when residents are actively involved in decision-making processes.

“Development is more effective when the people themselves are part of the conversation. Your concerns and suggestions guide our planning and help us prioritize projects that truly meet your needs,” he stated.

Residents welcomed the engagement and commended the Municipal Chief Executive for his open door leadership style and willingness to interact directly with communities. They pledged their support and cooperation in maintaining public facilities, promoting sanitation, and safeguarding government projects in the area.
