HON. DOMINIC GYASI GRACES 6TH SRC WEEK CELEBRATION AT ASAWINSO SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL

The Municipal Chief Executive for Sefwi Wiawso, Hon. Dominic Gyasi, on Friday, 20th February, 2026 graced the 6th SRC Week Celebration of Asawinso Senior High School as the Special Guest of Honour.

He was joined by the Municipal Chief Executive for Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Municipal Assembly, the colourful event brought together students, teachers, school authorities, parents, traditional leaders, and invited guests to celebrate student leadership, academic excellence, and unity. Activities lined up for the SRC Week included educational talks, cultural performances, sports competitions, and community service exercises.

In his address, Hon. Gyasi expressed his excitement at returning to his former school, where he once served as a teacher before assuming office as Municipal Chief Executive. He encouraged students to remain disciplined, focused, and committed to their academic goals.

“I once stood where you stand today. With dedication and the right values, you can rise to any position you aspire to,” he told the students.

He further assured the school community of the Assembly’s continued support towards improving teaching and learning conditions across the Municipality.

School authorities expressed appreciation to both Municipal Chief Executives for honouring the invitation and supporting student leadership activities, noting that their presence served as motivation to the students and strengthened ties between the two Municipalities.
