HON. DOMINIC GYASI, GSCSP OFFICIALS INSPECT SECONDARY CITIES PROJECT

The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), together with officials from the Ghana Secondary Cities Support Programme (GSCSP), inspected the ongoing Secondary Cities project in the Municipality to assess the progress of work and the quality of work done.

The inspection aimed to evaluate the current status of the project, ensure that construction works meet the required standards, and identify any challenges affecting its completion.

During the inspection, the MCE noted that the projects, which had stalled for some time due to unforeseen challenges, has now resumed. The MCE directed the contractors to fast-track the work, stressing that there was no time to waste. The MCE emphasized the need to maintain high-quality standards while ensuring the project is completed within the stipulated timeframe.

The MCE reaffirmed the Assembly’s commitment to effective project monitoring and quality service delivery, emphasizing that regular inspections are essential to ensuring value for money and the successful execution of development projects.
