HON. DOMINIC GYASI HOLDS COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT IN SELECTED COMMUNITIES IN THE MUNICIPALITY

The Municipal Chief Executive for Sefwi Wiawso, Hon. Dominic Gyasi, has undertaken a community engagement exercise in selected communities within the Sefwi Wiawso Municipality.
The engagement covered communities including Abrabra, Attorkrom, Aboduam, among others, as part of efforts by the Municipal Assembly to strengthen direct interaction with residents, identify development challenges, and promote participatory governance.
During the visits, Hon. Gyasi interacted with residents, opinion leaders, and community members on key issues affecting their communities. Matters discussed included infrastructure development, education, health, sanitation, and other social services. He also provided updates on ongoing and planned development interventions within the Municipality.
He assured the communities of the Assembly’s commitment to addressing their concerns within available resources and encouraged residents to support government and Assembly initiatives aimed at improving livelihoods and community development.
Community members expressed appreciation for the engagement, noting that it provided an opportunity for their concerns to be heard directly by the Municipal Chief Executive.
The engagement forms part of SWMA’s continuous efforts to deepen local governance, enhance accountability, and ensure inclusive development across the Municipality.
