HON. DOMINIC GYASI HOLDS ENGAGEMENT WITH MUNICIPAL ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH UNIT ON OPERATIONAL MANDATE AND CHALLENGES

The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) has held a strategic engagement with the Municipal Environmental Health Unit as part of efforts to strengthen environmental health and sanitation in the municipality.

The meeting provided an opportunity for the MCE to gain insight into the core mandate of the unit and to better understand the challenges faced by officers in the line of duty. Discussions also focused on the performance and activities of environmental health officers across the various Zonal Councils within the Municipality.

In his remarks, the MCE emphasized that health and sanitation remain top priorities under his administration. He expressed his commitment to supporting the unit to improve service delivery and promote a cleaner, healthier environment for all residents.

The engagement ended with a renewed sense of collaboration and shared responsibility between the Chief Executive and the Environmental Health Unit, aimed at enhancing public health and sanitation standards across the Municipality.
