The Municipal Chief Executive for Sefwi Wiawso, Hon. Dominic Gyasi, has held a “Meet the Press” series to account for his stewardship and share the achievements, challenges, and future plans of the Municipal Assembly after six months in office.

The event, held at the Assembly Hall, brought together members of the media and other stakeholders. It served as a platform for Hon. Gyasi to highlight the progress made under his leadership in areas such as education, health, sanitation, infrastructure, and youth empowerment.

In his presentation, the MCE outlined key thematic areas, emphasizing the Assembly’s commitment to improving living standards and ensuring equitable development across the municipality. He further reaffirmed that accountability and transparency will continue to serve as guiding principles of his administration.

Hon. Gyasi explained that the “Meet the Press” series was not only an avenue to report on progress but also a means to engage the media and solicit feedback from the public to help shape future interventions.

He assured residents that the next phase of his leadership would focus on consolidating gains made so far, addressing outstanding challenges, and prioritizing job creation and community development.

The interactive session also allowed journalists to raise questions on pressing municipal issues, to which the MCE provided clarifications and assurances of pragmatic solutions.

Hon. Gyasi expressed gratitude to the media and the people of Sefwi Wiawso for their cooperation and pledged to deepen collaboration for the growth and development of the municipality.
