HON. DOMINIC GYASI INSPECTS ONGOING REHABILITATION OF EIGHT-BEDROOM TEACHERS’ QUARTERS AT ABONSE

Hon. Dominic Gyasi on Thursday 12^th February, 2026 inspected the ongoing rehabilitation works on the eight-bedroom Teachers’ Quarters at Abonse. The project is being sponsored by the Member of Parliament for the Sefwi Wiawso Constituency, Hon. Kofi Benteh Afful, as part of efforts to improve accommodation for teachers in the community.

The inspection formed part of routine monitoring to ensure that the project is executed according to specification and completed on schedule. When completed, the rehabilitated eight-bedroom facility will provide teachers with safe and decent accommodation, creating a more conducive environment for effective teaching and learning.

Speaking during the inspection, Hon. Dominic Gyasi emphasized that providing quality accommodation for teachers remains essential in attracting and retaining qualified personnel, especially in rural communities.

Community members in Abonse commended Hon. Kofi Benteh Afful for sponsoring the project and expressed appreciation for the strong collaboration between the Municipal Chief Executive and the Member of Parliament. They noted that the growing partnership between the two leaders is positively impacting development in the Sefwi Wiawso Constituency.
