HON. DOMINIC GYASI PAYS WORKING VISIT TO ZIPLINE DRONE CENTRE

Hon. Dominic Gyasi, on Thursday 8th May, 2025 paid a working visit to the Zipline Drone Distribution Centre as part of his efforts to explore innovative solutions in healthcare delivery and logistics.


The visit aimed to assess the operations of the Zipline facility, which is known for its use of drone technology to deliver essential medical supplies to remote areas. During the tour, Hon. Gyasi engaged with the technical team, observed drone launch demonstrations, and discussed the impact of drone delivery on healthcare accessibility in underserved communities.


He commended Zipline for its pioneering work in leveraging technology to save lives and pledged continued government support for such innovative partnerships.

"This is a clear example of how technology can transform public service delivery, especially in critical sectors like health," Hon. Gyasi remarked.


The visit concluded with a presentation highlighting Zipline’s key achievements, offering the Hon. MCE valuable insights into the impact and progress of the drone delivery initiative.
