HON. DOMINIC GYASI PRESENTS YAMAHA MOTORCYCLE TO BLUE WATER GUARDS ON BEHALF OF MINERALS COMMISSION, GHANA.

The Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Dominic Gyasi, on Monday, 26^th January, 2026 handed over a Yamaha motorcycle to the Blue Water Guards on behalf of the Minerals Commission in support of their role in monitoring and supervising mining activities within the Municipality.

The motorcycle was presented at the Sefwi Wiawso Municipal Assembly, where the commander of the Blue Water Guards visited to receive it on behalf of the team. The donation is intended to improve the mobility and operational efficiency of the guards as they carry out their duties in the Municipality.

Hon. Dominic Gyasi commended the Blue Water Guards for their dedication and vigilance, and noted that the motorcycle would enhance their ability to respond effectively to issues on the ground. He also expressed appreciation to the Minerals Commission for their support.

The commander of the Blue Water Guards expressed gratitude for the motorcycle and assured the Assembly and the Minerals Commission that it would be put to good use in the discharge of their responsibilities.
