HON. DOMINIC GYASI TOURS PRISONS SERVICE RECRUITMENT SCREENING CENTRES

The Municipal Chief Executive for Sefwi Wiawso, Hon. Dominic Gyasi, on 19th January, 2026 toured selected screening centres within the Municipality as part of the ongoing Ghana Prisons Service recruitment exercise.

The visit was aimed at monitoring the screening process, ensuring orderliness, and assessing the overall conduct of the exercise. The centres visited were Wiawso College of Education, Methodist School Park, and Sefwi Wiawso Senior High School Park, where a large number of applicants were screened.

During the tour, Hon. Dominic Gyasi interacted with officials of the Ghana Prisons Service and applicants, and expressed satisfaction with the level of organization and professionalism demonstrated at the various centres. He commended the recruitment officers and security personnel for their dedication and urged applicants to remain disciplined and patient throughout the process.

The Municipal Chief Executive also encouraged the youth to take advantage of such opportunities to serve the nation through the security services and contribute to national development.
