In a heartwarming demonstration of commitment to improving educational infrastructure and promoting a conducive learning environment, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Sefwi Wiawso Municipal Assembly, Hon Louis-Owusu Agyepong, handed over a significant donation of dual desks to the Municipal Education Directorate on 30th August, 2023.
The ceremony, held at the premises of the Municipal Assembly, was attended by key stakeholders, including the Municipal Education Director, Heads of Department, representatives from local schools, and members of the Municipal Assembly.
The donation comprised a substantial quantity of dual desks designed to accommodate two students comfortably. This initiative aligns with the Assembly’s broader commitment to enhancing the quality of education and providing students with the tools and resources necessary for a successful educational journey.
During the handover event, Hon. Louis Owusu-Agyepong reiterated the government's unwavering dedication to education, emphasizing that quality education is the bedrock of a thriving community. The MCE expressed gratitude to all stakeholders for their collective efforts in advancing education in the municipality.
