MCE PLEDGES TO SUPPORT J.K AHWOI SCHOOL BUILD TOILET FACILITY AS THEY MARK THEIR 25TH ANIVERSARY DAY



The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Sefwi Wiawso, Hon. Louis Owusu-Agyepong, has pledged the Assembly's support to the J.K. Ahwoi Basic School in Sefwi Wiawso to build a toilet facility for the school.

The MCE made the pledge during the school's 25th Anniversary Celebration held on Friday, December 08, 2023.

Hon. Owusu-Agyepong said the Assembly is committed to improving the lives of residents in the Municipality, including students. He said the lack of a toilet facility at the school is a major concern and the Assembly will do its best to address the issue.

The MCE also commended the school's Management and staff for their dedication to providing quality education for the students. He urged them to continue their good work and assured them of the Assembly's support.

The headmaster of the school, Mr. Dogbe, thanked the MCE for his pledge and said the toilet facility will be a great relief to the students and staff. He said the school has been without a toilet facility for many years and the students have been using public toilets in the community.

Mr. Dogbe said the new facility will help to improve the sanitation conditions at the school and will also make it more appealing to students.

The 25th anniversary celebration was a joyous occasion for the school community. Students, parents, and staff, came together to celebrate the school's achievements over the years.

The 25th anniversary celebration was not just about addressing challenges but also about celebrating milestones. The day was filled with vibrant activities, including poetry recitals, cultural performances, and a captivating drama presentation by the students.

Adding to the celebratory spirit, Ambassador Kwasi Ahwoi, son of the late J.K. Ahwoi, delivered an inspiring speech as the guest speaker. He encouraged the students to work hard and pursue their dreams with unwavering determination. He also generously donated to the school.

The celebration was a great success and everyone involved had a wonderful time.
