MCE TOURS BECE EXAM CENTRES IN THE SEFWI WIAWSO MUNICIPALITY

The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Sefwi Wiawso, Hon. Dominic Gyasi together with the Regional Education Director has embarked on a tour of various Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) centres within the Municipality. The visit aimed to monitor the conduct of the exams, ensure smooth coordination, and boost the morale of candidates and invigilators.
During the tour, the MCE interacted with students, encouraged them to remain confident and focused, and assured them of the Municipal Assembly’s support. He also commended the Ghana Education Service (GES), school authorities, and security personnel for their roles in maintaining order and discipline at the centres.
Hon. Gyasi stressed the importance of education in National development and reiterated the government's commitment to creating an enabling environment for academic excellence.
The BECE, which commenced on June 11, 2025, is being conducted Nationwide, with multiple centres in the Sefwi Wiawso Municipality hosting hundreds of participating candidates.
