MP AND MCE LEAD COMMUNITY TOUR WITH HEADS OF DEPARTMENTS AND UNITS OF THE ASSEMBLY

The Member of Parliament for Sefwi Wiawso, Hon. Kofi Benteh Afful, and his Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Dominic Gyasi, led a community tour across parts of the Municipality, accompanied by Heads of Departments and Units.

The tour was intended to give Heads of Departments and Units firsthand insight into some communities within the Municipality, particularly those they may not be very familiar with. By visiting these areas, the officials had the opportunity to directly observe the living conditions, infrastructure gaps, and challenges faced by residents. This exposure is expected to deepen their understanding of local issues and better position them to make informed, practical decisions in planning and implementing development interventions across the Municipality.

Hon. Afful emphasized the importance of community visitation in governance, noting that such interactions help leadership better understand the needs of the people. Hon. Gyasi also reiterated the Assembly’s dedication to addressing pressing issues and ensuring that development reaches all parts of the Municipality.
