MUNICIPAL CHIEF EXECUTIVE PAYS WORKING VISIT TO SEFWI WIAWSO GOVERNMENT HOSPITAL

The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Sefwi Wiawso, Hon. Dominic Gyasi, on Monday, 28th April 2025, paid a working visit to the Sefwi Wiawso Government Hospital as part of efforts to assess the state of healthcare delivery in the Municipality.

During the inspection, the MCE toured various departments/units of the facility, interacted with hospital staff, and engaged management on key challenges facing the hospital. The visit aimed to identify areas that require urgent attention, including infrastructure, staffing, and medical equipment needs.

“Government is committed to improving healthcare services at the local level, and we recognize the critical role this hospital plays in serving the people of Sefwi Wiawso and the surrounding communities. We will work closely with stakeholders to ensure that necessary improvements are made,” Hon. Gyasi stated.

Management of the hospital expressed gratitude for the visit and emphasized the importance of continued government support in enhancing service delivery.

The inspection forms part of a broader initiative by the Municipal Assembly to monitor and support public institutions across the municipality.
