The Municipal Chief Executive of Sefwi Wiawso, Hon. Dominic Gyasi, has received a delegation of newly passed-out Community Police Assistants and Fire Service Assistants both under the Youth Employment Agency (YEA) who paid a courtesy call to officially introduce themselves and announce their successful completion of training.

The delegation also included the Constituency Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and officials from the Youth Employment Agency, who joined the meeting to lend their support.

During the engagement, Hon. Gyasi congratulated the personnel on their achievement and urged them to uphold discipline, professionalism, and dedication in their duties. He emphasized that their roles are vital in safeguarding lives and property, maintaining peace, and ensuring security within the Municipality.

The MCE further encouraged the newly deployed assistants to work in close collaboration with their respective security agencies and the Assembly to address emerging challenges, particularly in crime prevention, fire safety education, and emergency response.

The visiting officers expressed their appreciation for the warm reception and assured the MCE of their readiness to serve with integrity and commitment.

The meeting concluded with words of encouragement from Hon. Gyasi, the District Police Commander, and the Fire Commander, who reaffirmed their collective commitment to supporting and nurturing the young personnel for the betterment of the Municipality.
