OFFICIALS FROM MTN GHANA CALL ON HON. DOMINIC GYASI

The Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Dominic Gyasi on Thursday, 11th June, 2026 received engineers and officials from MTN Ghana on a courtesy call, where the team briefed him on ongoing works involving the laying of fibre optic cables from Dwinase to Asawinso. The project is aimed at addressing network challenges and improving access to reliable and high-quality communication services within the Municipality.


The fibre optic expansion is expected to significantly enhance network connectivity not only in the beneficiary communities but also in surrounding towns and villages. It will support key sectors such as education, business, communication, and other digital activities that rely on stable internet access.


The Municipal Chief Executive commended MTN Ghana for the initiative and its continued commitment to improving digital infrastructure and contributing to the growth and development of the Municipality.


He further emphasized that improved connectivity remains a critical component of the Municipality’s development agenda, as it creates opportunities for innovation, economic growth, and efficient service delivery.
