SEFWI WIAWSO MUNICIPALITY COMMEMORATES GHANA'S 67TH INDEPENDENCE DAY ANNIVERSARY

The 67th Independence Day anniversary of Ghana was celebrated across all Districts, Municipalities, and Metropolises in the country. In the Sefwi Wiawso Municipality, the commemoration took place on the sports field of the Sefwi Wiawso College of Education, within the Municipality.

The event witnessed a significant turnout, with representatives from various sectors including Traditional Authorities, Security Agencies, Heads of State Institutions, Politicians, the Clergy, School heads, Representatives of selected Schools, and members of the general public. Under the theme "Our Democracy, our Pride," the occasion was skillfully chaired by Nana Kofi Nkoah II. The celebration provided a solemn opportunity to reflect on Ghana's journey as a nation, from its historical beginnings to its current state, and to envision its future trajectory within the context of democracy.

It served as a moment to contemplate our collective values, aspirations, and shared commitments as a people.
