SWMA HOLDS PERFORMANCE CONTRACT MEETING

The Sefwi Wiawso Municipal Assembly has held its 2026 Performance Contract Meeting as part of efforts to strengthen accountability, improve service delivery, and enhance institutional performance within the Municipality.

The meeting brought together Heads of Departments and Units to review key performance targets for the 2026 period, align departmental plans with the Assembly’s strategic objectives, and ensure effective implementation of programmes and projects.

The 2026 Performance Contract had earlier been signed at the Western North Regional Coordinating Council (RCC) between the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Dominic Gyasi, and the Municipal Coordinating Director, Mr. Fred B. Kpodo, in line with the Local Government Service Performance Management System.

Speaking at the meeting, the Municipal Coordinating Director, Mr. Fred B. Kpodo, took time to go through the presentation in detail for staff present, explaining key performance indicators, expectations, and reporting requirements under the 2026 Performance Contract.

Participants also discussed challenges affecting performance and proposed practical solutions to enhance service delivery across the Municipality.
