On April 24th, 2024, the Sefwi Wiawso Municipal Assembly held a site meeting for the UDG III Project, under the Ghana Secondary Cities Support Programme. The meeting, chaired by Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) Hon. Louis Owusu-Agyepong, took place at the Dwinase Market.
The meeting was attended by the Coordinating Director, Mr. Fred B. Kpodo and a team of officials from the Assembly, the consultant, Market leaders and all the contractors executing the various projects.
The main aim of the meeting was to engage with the Contractors and market leaders to gather feedback on the impact of the projects. Community involvement and feedback are integral to ensuring that the projects align with the actual needs and aspirations of the people.
The MCE highlighted the commitment to maintaining high standards of construction and quality assurance. He also reiterated that regular inspections and adherence to project timelines are crucial to the successful implementation of the UDG III projects.
