In accordance with the Environmental and Social Safeguard guidelines of the Ghana Secondary Cities Support Programme which requires beneficiary Municipal Assemblies to ensure effective stakeholders’ participation in the implementation of the programme. The Sefwi Wiawso Municipal Assembly held a stakeholders consultative meeting on the commencement of the UDG III sub projects under GSCSP at the Municipal Assembly Hall on Friday, 14th July,2023.
The meeting was planned and executed in three main parts. The first part was a brief introduction by stakeholders and some key staff of the Municipal Assembly, followed by the purpose of the meeting and detailed deliberation on the implementation of the development projects under the Ghana Secondary Cities Support Programme (GSCSP) in the Municipality. The third part was devoted to questions and contributions from the stakeholders and the responses from appropriate officers of the Assembly.
