The Sefwi Wiawso Municipal Assembly (SWMA) has hosted officers for the Mid-Year Review of the 2024 Performance Contract, aimed at assessing the Municipality’s progress in meeting its developmental targets and service delivery goals.
The review, which brought together key officials and stakeholders, focused on evaluating the achievements, challenges, and areas for improvement in the implementation of the 2024 Performance Contract. The discussions centered on budget execution, project implementation, revenue mobilization, and policy outcomes, ensuring that set targets are on track for the rest of the year.
Speaking at the exit conference, the Municipal Coordinating Director emphasized the importance of the review, stating, "This exercise allows us to assess our progress, identify challenges, and realign our strategies to achieve better results for the Municipality."
The meeting also provided an opportunity for officers to share best practices, address operational bottlenecks, and recommend solutions to enhance efficiency and accountability. Key recommendations from the review will inform the next phase of the 2024 development agenda, ensuring that SWMA delivers on its commitments to the people of Sefwi Wiawso.
