SWMA LADIES ASSOCIATION ORGANIZES MASS SEND-OFF CEREMONY

The Ladies Association of the Sefwi Wiawso Municipal Assembly on Thursday, 25th June, 2026 organized a colorful mass Send-Off Ceremony to honor members and patrons who have been posted to new duty stations, as well as a member proceeding on retirement.


In attendance were the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Dominic Gyasi, and the Municipal Coordinating Director, Mr. Fred B. Kpodo, who both delivered goodwill messages in recognition of the outstanding dedication and professionalism of the outgoing members.


They commended the honorees for their commitment to public service and encouraged those taking up new appointments to continue serving with integrity and excellence, while wishing the retiree good health and fulfillment in the next phase of her life.


As part of the ceremony, the Municipal Chief Executive and the Municipal Coordinating Director presented plaques and other gifts to the outgoing members as a token of appreciation for their invaluable contributions to the Association and the Municipal Assembly.


Special recognition was also accorded to the retiring staff member, who served the Municipal Assembly diligently for 39 years. On behalf of management and staff, the Municipal Assembly presented the retiree with gifts in appreciation of nearly four decades of dedicated, loyal, and exemplary service. The presentation was accompanied by a standing ovation from colleagues and guests, reflecting the high esteem in which the retiree is held.


Speaking on behalf of the honorees, one of the outgoing members expressed heartfelt appreciation to the SWMA Ladies Association, the Municipal Assembly, and management for the recognition and support received throughout their years of serving the Assembly. The speaker urged members to remain united and continue working together to strengthen the Association.
