UPPER AMENFI RURAL BANK LTD DONATES 10 KNAPSACK SPRAYERS TO SUPPORT 2025 FARMERS’ DAY CELEBRATION

The Upper Amenfi Rural Bank Ltd has supported the Sefwi Wiawso Municipal Assembly by donating ten (10) knapsack sprayers for the 2025 Farmers’ Day celebration. This act is part of the bank’s long-standing commitment to promote farming activities and contribute to community development within its operational areas.

During the presentation, Mr. Sackey George Robertson, the bank representative, emphasized that the donation underscores the institution’s recognition of the critical role farmers play in ensuring food security, supporting local economies, and contributing to national development.

According to the bank, the knapsack sprayers will help beneficiary farmers improve their farm management practices, especially in pest control and crop maintenance. This, they believe, will contribute to higher yields and better-quality produce.

The Municipal Director of Agriculture, Mr. Daniel Nyargome, expressed appreciation to Upper Amenfi Rural Bank Ltd for its continuous support. He noted that contributions from Corporate institutions play a crucial role in motivating farmers and improving the overall success of the annual celebration.
